***CHINA***

Hello everyone, 

it's been awhile since i've posted anything, but since i'm going to CHINA it's prolly a good idea to start up with piece of random blog again. So, i'm going to china. I'm studying at Nankai university for six weeks where i shall attempt to improve my mandarin. i'm afraid that i'm just going to start yelling in french just to prove that i can speak other languages. hopefully i won't. After the program, i shall be traveling around Beijing, Xi'an, Dunhuang, and Shanghai. wish me luck you guys! i'm super nervous and excited for a new adventure. i've been craving an opportunity to leave SLC forever now, and here's my chance!

i know it's been awhile since i've written on my blog. but im just so busy being in GRAD SCHOOL and stuff. I went to NYC for fall break a few weeks ago and it was sooo much fun. I met up with some friends that are makin' it happen in the big city. i loved it so much. in years to come, i shall become a new yorker and wear black all the time...wait, ive already started to do that...

Banabigail

i've been meaning to put these pics up for awhile now. so basically the story is that the last night i was in neuchy neuch, me and my friends pulled an all-nighter and went out and had crazy fun times. i borrowed this greenish-yellow dress from my friend isabelle and my friend ben commented that i looked like a banana (ummm...RUDE). the next day, we went and watched some of the world cup and i was kind of depressed because, not only did england lose against germany, i was going back home to salt lake city. anyways, to be funny, my friend, alex, bought a banana and put lipstick and drew a dress on the banana and named it "banana-abby" i changed is to "banabigail" because it sounds better. haha. so they went around neuch and took pictures of banabigail in her daily life. here is some photos:

I've been staying here in Neuchatel with my very very good friend, Alex. he's been so kind to me and not too annoyed with me [i forgot to lock the doors to the apartment a couple of times...my bad!]. anyways, he came back from work last night and i told him that we were going to do something fabulous. we got dressed up and went out for dinner at this great little restaurant [the tavern?]. we ate Raclette, had a bottle of white wine and laughed the night away. it was a perfect night.

So, a couple of weeks before school started, my good good friend, Lena, invited to go to Buena Vista, Colorado for the weekend. it was fabulous. i met some really fun and interesting people from Lena's college, Redlands. we went hiking, white water rafting and singing random songs by the camp fire. ah! good times. i hope we do it again next year!!! HOLLA!

***Polish Hotdogs***

So back in January, my dad came over to Europe to spend Christmas and New year's with me. We spent Christmas in Prague with one of my good friends. It was fabulous. For New Year's, we went up to Poland to visit some other friends. One night, we went out on an adventure to find the best polish hotdog. If you know anything about me or my family, we LOVE greasy and unhealthy food. So, basically, hotdogs are clearly a part of our daily lives---it's like breathing to us. So, we went walking through centre-ville of Warsaw, looking for the best hot dog. Enjoy.

Sunday Funday

Last Sunday was so beautiful. i made my good friend be my boyfriend for the day and we went to the lake. We packed a picnic and ate down by the lake and fed the swans. Let me just say something: swans are vicious. They are little devils in dressed in white feathers. Even though my fingers are a bit cut up and bruised from the "swans," i will always remember that day. It was perfect.

So, A Blonde Walks into a Bar...

Hi everyone!! Well, the weekend is here, and i am stuck inside doing homework and working on my lesson for tomorrow. It's snowing like crazy outside. i'm not gonna lie, it's been so nice to be back in the Neuch. i've missed all my friends and, the weird part is, i've really missed school as well. i've been going to all my classes, doing my homework, AND even reading the seventh Harry Potter book in french on the side! Hazzah!
My friends and i went up in the mountains last weekend and it was awesome: we ate sausages and made S'mores. i really miss camping, but what i don't miss about it is the fire smoke blowing right in my face. Rude.
Anyways, i hope that you have a lovely weekend!! i'll try to write more shtuffs but i'm really not that creative...i'll think of something...K THX BAI

No, I'm not on a boat, but I'm by a lake

The other day in the Neuch, my friends and I decided to go down to the lake because we had the day off of school. We also wanted to go to get tanner because there is a ball coming up in October. Why waste money when you have a beautiful sun right above you waiting and anticipating for you to burn? It was super fun, and I wanted to go into the water, but no one would come with me. So, I ended up reading Harry Potter et Les Reliques de la Mort. Good times.
